The Sun Prairie Volunteer Fire Department has immense sadness over the passing of one of their own. Captain Cory Barr died in the line of duty on Tuesday July 10, 2018 while assisting during a response. Cory has been instrumental in the growth and integrity of not only this department but also the entire community. He was a beloved husband, father of 2, son, uncle, brother, friend, and amazing firefighter. Captain Barr’s kindness and contagious smile will always be remembered.
