Busy 24 hours in Middleton with a number of stolen vehicles observed in the area, at least two recovered stolen vehicles and thefts from autos. Probably the most disturbing report so far was the burglary of a residence in the Foxridge neighborhood this morning. The suspect(s) entered the home by getting a garage door opener from an unlocked car in the driveway. They opened the garage door and entered the house from the unlocked door leading from the garage to the house and took personal items from the kitchen area. This occurred around 6:00 AM while the female homeowner was taking a shower.

-Lock your cars
-Shut your garage doors
-Lock all doors, the easy ones to forget are the utility door leading into the garage and the door leading from the garage to the house
-If you own firearms, be a responsible owner and secure them…and never leave them in your car
