The Newark Police Department is releasing information about recent crime and police activity that has occurred within our community. 
July 10th
0615 Hours: Officer Cervantes investigated a vehicle burglary on the 39200 block of Cedar Boulevard. The loss is miscellaneous work tools.
0716 Hours: Officer Wallace investigated an auto accident on Ruschin Drive at Musick Avenue. One vehicle was towed from the scene.
1006 Hours: Officer Taylor investigated an auto burglary on the 8100 block of Merion Drive. The loss is miscellaneous tools.
1326 Hours: Officers responded to a car verses motorcycle injury accident on Thornton Avenue at Cedar Boulevard. The injured party was transported to an area hospital for treatment of their injuries. The accident is under investigation by the NPD Traffic Division.
0113 Hours: Officer Wang contacted and arrested a 22-year-old Newark female for driving under the influence, driving on a suspended license and for an outstanding warrant during a traffic stop on Newark Boulevard at Thornton Avenue. The suspect was booked into the Fremont Jail.
