#031 Possession of Methamphetamine
Officers responded to a report of a stolen bicycle. Officer Gonzales located a male who was in the area and matched the suspect description. The victim ended up not wanting prosecution for the stolen bicycle, but the suspect was found to be in possession of methamphetamine for which he was arrested.
#028 Trespassing and Warrant Arrest
Officer LaStrape and Sgt. McCormick responded to a report of trespassing in the Fremont Plaza Shopping Center. They contacted an adult male who was found to have a felony warrant for arson and a misdemeanor warrant for illegal possession of a firearm. Officer LaStrape arrested him for the warrants and transported him to Santa Rita.
#047 Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Narcotics, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
At 11:10 p.m., Officer Gerber conducted a stop of a bicycle that did not have a forward facing light, a violation of CVC 21201 (d)(1) and arrested the 25 year old for multiple drug offenses.
Transient Related Calls for Service:
Several calls came in throughout the day at various locations for trespassing, including the Mission Springs Pool, the Warm Springs Church, the Cabrillo Townhomes and Kaiser Medical Center. In all cases, the individuals were contacted and asked to move along. All complied.
