Since yesterday morning at 12:30 AM officers and investigators have been investigating the robbery at the Shell Gas Station at 1593 E. Mason St. Since the incident, investigators have been retrieving evidence, locating video surveillance, and investigating the car vs home crash that occurred moments after the robbery.

With the assistance of the Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Office and GBPD detectives, they have taken into custody Robert Herrington, a 37 year old Casco, WI resident. Investigators believe Mr. Herrington robbed the Shell Gas station, fled in the truck and crashed into the home on Elm St, and was able to elude the officers on foot.

Investigators were able to retrieve evidence at the Shell Gas Station, the crash scene, and working with the truck owners to develop information that led us to identifying and locating Mr. Herrington. As a result, Mr. Herrington is being charged with Armed Robbery, Eluding a Peace Officer, and Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Owner’s Consent. Mr. Herrington is currently in the Brown County Jail.
