Deputy Arrests Suspect for Child Endangerment and Transportation of a Controlled Substance

LOCATION: 2500 Block of Pashard St, Needles, CA.
SUSPECT(S): Paula McDow, 43, Mohave Valley, AZ.

SUMMARY: On Friday, July 6, 2018, at approximately 9:04 a.m., Thomas was contacted on the 2500 block of Pashard St. and found to have a suspended driver's license and is currently on probation for possession of stolen property. While conducting a probation search of Thomas’ vehicle, Deputy Hernandez found a metal container under the passenger's seat, where McDow had been sitting. Inside the metal container was approximately one ounce of methamphetamine and eight grams of heroin. An eighth ounce of methamphetamine and one gram of heroin was also found in McDow's child's bag. McDow was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Colorado River Station jail, where she was booked for transportation of a controlled substance for sale and child endangerment. McDow is currently being held on $100,000.00 bail, pending a court hearing.
