Severe T-Storm Watch in effect for Tyrone area thru 8pm tonight. 
The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Fayette County until 8pm. This watch was announced at 4:42pm Sunday May 3, 2008.
The NWS advises that a series of strong to severe thunderstorms are moving east into Central Georgia from Alabama.
A weather watch indicates the potential for severe or damaging weather conditions.
