Four Suspects Arrested in Tire Slashing and Graffiti Complaints
Since June 18th, 2018 the Green Bay Police Department has investigated a pattern of tire slashing. During the last two weeks of May, the Green Bay Police Department also received several graffiti complaints which we have been investigating. These complaints have been reported on both the east and west side of the city. See attached map. In total 20 vehicles had their tires slashed and there have been 9 reports of graffiti.
As the complaints were reported, an officer investigated an unrelated crime that lead to the arrest of a male/suspect who is a Green Bay resident.
Investigators learned that this male was responsible not only for the other crime but for the tire slashing complaints and the graffiti. Also, investigators learned that another male/suspect, as well as two other juveniles were also responsible for the tire slashing and graffiti complaints.
In the end, investigators believe these four suspects are responsible for 12 reports of tire slashing with two residences being hit twice and 8 reports of graffiti. Investigators are recommending multiple charges of “Criminal Damage to property” charges to the Brown County District Attorney for the two male suspects and Brown County Juvenile Intake for the two juveniles. The investigations continues as investigators are working to determine if these four suspects are responsible for all of the reported graffiti and tire slashing complaints.
