The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for... Ocean County in southern New Jersey... Northeastern Burlington County in southern New Jersey... Monmouth County in central New Jersey...
* Until 1230 PM EDT.
* At 822 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two and a half inches of rain have already fallen with another one to two inches possible in the next couple of hours. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly in the areas of heaviest rain.
* Some locations that could experience flooding include... Toms River, Long Branch, Asbury Park, Lakewood, Jackson, Howell, Manalapan, Tinton Falls, Beachwood, Manasquan, Point Pleasant Beach, Presidential Lakes Estates, Seaside Heights, Lakehurst, Pemberton, Farmingdale, Roosevelt, Wrightstown, Mantoloking and Allenwood.
* AFFECTED AREAS: BURLINGTON ... MONMOUTH ... OCEAN
