IMPD to make merit-based promotions of sergeants, lieutenants, captains at public ceremony
INDIANAPOLIS - The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is pleased to announce merit rank promotions of sergeants, lieutenants, and captains.
“This is an exciting time for the IMPD and City of Indianapolis,” stated Chief Roach, “These newly promoted men and women are taking an important step in their careers. They are ready to serve in their new positions and continue to build upon the relationships they have created in the community and within the department. Congratulations to these new supervisors.”
The new supervisors will receive their new badges at a public ceremony to be held on Friday, July 6, 2018, in the Public Assembly Room inside the City-County Building.
