SUMMARY:
In November 2017, two juvenile females reported to the Ontario Police Department they had been Human Trafficked by the suspect (Damon Beverly) while at a local motel. At the time of the report, the victims could only identify the suspect to the police by his alias "KD". Investigators worked to identify the suspect but were initially unsuccessful. Ontario Police Corporal N. Lefler, a member of the San Bernardino County Human Trafficking Task Force, assumed the investigation. He continued investigating the case with the assistance of other task force members and in June 2018, was able to positively identify Damian Beverly as the suspect.

As the investigation continued, website advertisements for prostitution were found to be continually posted by the suspect. On Monday, July 2, 2018, Corporal Lefler identified a website adviertisement for prostitution placed by Beverly, at an unidentified location in Riverside County. Task Force investigators initiated an undercover operation, contacting Berverly through the advertisement and were directed to a motel, located in the 27000 block of Jefferson Avenue,in the City of Temecula. Task Force members responded to the location and were able to identify the motel room associated with Beverly's advertisement, as well as his vehicle in the parking lot.
As investigators continued their operation, Beverly was seen leaving the motel in his vehicle. With the assistance of Riverside County Sheriff's deputies from the Temecula Station, a traffic enforcement stop was conducted on the suspect vehicle on Interstate 15, and Beverly was taken into custody without incident.

Investigators found the adult victim (advertised by Beverly) back at the motel room. The victim and Beverly were transported back to the Ontario Police Department for additional investigation and interviews.

As a result of this investigation, Beverly was arrested at the Ontario Police Department for Felony Pimping, Pandering and Human Trafficking of a Minor, as well as an Adult. He was booked at West Valley Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of $1,000,000.
