AN AREA OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT SOUTHEASTERN
WEXFORD... SOUTHEASTERN GRAND TRAVERSE...CRAWFORD...
MONTMORENCY...SOUTHEASTERN CHARLEVOIX...SOUTHERN CHEBOYGAN...
SOUTHWESTERN PRESQUE ISLE... OTSEGO...SOUTHEASTERN ANTRIM...
KALKASKA...ROSCOMMON...MISSAUKEE AND WESTERN OSCODA COUNTIES...

At 526 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from 6 miles northeast of Eastern Corwith
Township to near Mcbain. Movement was east at 25 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail are possible with these
storms.

Locations impacted include...
Cadillac, Houghton Lake, Gaylord, Rogers City, Kalkaska, Grayling,
Mancelona, Roscommon, Onaway, Lake City, Lewiston, Atlanta,
Prudenville, St. Helen, Sharon, Elmira, Frederic, Manton, Boon and
Mcbain.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
