Fireworks in the City of Palmdale 
Happy 4th of July!
As a reminder, only "Safe and Sane" fireworks are allowed in the City of Palmdale until July 5th at noon. Safe and Sane fireworks have the seal of the State of California Fire Marshall. A first time offense is a $2,500 citation, second offense $5,000 and third offense $10,000 for using/possessing illegal fireworks or using any type of fireworks including Safe and Sane"in "No Firework Zones." Illegal fireworks are dangerous and can cause serious damage to life and/or property. Visit cityofpalmdale.org to see if you live in a "No Firework Zone."
Additionally, all fireworks are illegal in unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County per Fire Code 3301.1.3
Pet owners, please remember to bring your pets indoors and keep them comfortable. Pets are unaware of today's significance and may be frightened by loud sounds.
