Heavy traffic is expected before and after the July 4th fireworks display at the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center. Heavy traffic conditions are expected for Olympic Parkway, Lake Crest and the areas surrounding Mountain Hawk Park due to the additional traffic brought by visitors for the fireworks. Traffic may be rerouted during peak volume of the event.

If you live in the area or need to go somewhere in this area, CVPD suggests you use alternate routes to access that portion of the city that will be impacted by the event traffic. The event begins at 5:00 pm and ends around 9pm. Traffic is expected to start around 4 pm and last until around 11pm.
