News Story - Narcotics Arrest

Nature of Incident: Narcotics / Weapons Arrest Report Number: 18-96490 Location: 2600 Block of Spinnaker Avenue, Port Hueneme Date & Time: July 4, 2018 8:00 a.m. Unit(s) Responsible: Ventura County Sheriff’s West County Narcotics Team (S)uspects, (V)ictims, (P)arty, (D)ecedent City of Residence Age (S) Hall, Alfonso Port Hueneme 50 Narrative: On June 26, 2018, The West County Street Team concluded an approximate 4 month investigation into the narcotic trafficking activities of Port Hueneme resident Alfonso Hall. The West County Street Team was assisted by the California National Guard Counter-Drug Task Force. In early 2018, detectives received information Alfonso Hall was selling cocaine to residents of Ventura County from his residence in Port Hueneme. Detectives investigated and confirmed this information and obtained a search warrant for his residence, vehicles, and person. On June 26, 2018, narcotic detectives executed the search warrant at Hall’s residence in the 2600 Block of Spinnaker Avenue. During the search of the residence, over two ounces of rock cocaine packaged for sale, and a large sum of money deemed to be narcotic proceeds was seized from Hall. In addition, two loaded handguns which were found to be stolen were located on the premises and also seized. Hall was arrested for possession of rock cocaine for sale, attempting to destroy evidence, as well as weapon charges. Hall was booked into the Ventura County Jail where he posted bail of $90,000.00. His next court date is set for July 10, 2018 in Courtroom Division 12. The West County Narcotics Team is comprised of narcotic detectives from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, the Port Hueneme Police Department and the Oxnard Police Department.
