Traffic Delay Notice beginning tomorrow! 
The Tehachapi Police Department announces that traffic congestion will begin at approximately 9:00 PM tomorrow in the Downtown Tehachapi area. Expect delays and consider planning an alternative route. The delay will be due to the firework display which begins at sundown at the Tehachapi Municipal Airport. Thank you for your patience regarding this matter.
**Spectators parking in the north lot of the Rodeo Grounds will be diverted to N/B Dennison to Challenger Wy.
**Spectators parking in the south lot of the Rodeo Grounds will be diverted to S/B Dennison, continue heading sound on Dennison/ or turn east on Tehachapi Blvd.
**Spectators that are parked at Coy Burnett Field or on Tehachapi Blvd will need to drive west on Tehachapi Blvd.
As a reminder, please drive carefully and slowly for spectators in this area. Happy 4th of July, and stay safe!
