Deputy finds suspect with outstanding warrants and marijuana 
Deputy Steven McPeters of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Thomas Edward Grigg, 51, of 455 Spooky Hollow Road in Marion, with possession of marijuana.
At 8:18 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, McPeters was on patrol in the area of South Main Street in Marion, when he spotted a driver with a suspended license.
He pulled the vehicle over, found Grigg driving and learned that he had outstanding warrants in McDowell.
A subsequent search of the suspect turned up 7 grams of marijuana.
