Redwood Blvd is now open. 
The Novato Police Department and Novato Fire District responded to the report of a possible gas leak and active fire near 7600 Redwood Blvd. The roadway was closed and the SMART train was temporarily halted. NFD and PG&E have deemed the area safe. There is no threat to the public.
