On Sunday, July 1st, at approximately 7:42am, Pawnee County Sheriff's Deputies and Mannford Police Officers responded to a 911 call by a female caller at 9409 N Oak Noll Ave, Mannford, in Pawnee County. Inside the residence was a deceased male, identified as James Starkey, DOB: 08-29-63. James' body had injuries consistent with a homicide. Pawnee County Sheriff's Office requested OSBI investigate the death. The suspect in the homicide, Jennifer Starkey, DOB: 09-09-85, will be booked into jail after she is released from Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa for injuries she received prior to police involvement. Jennifer is James' daughter. The Medical Examiner's Office will perform an autopsy on James and determine cause and manner of death. OSBI agents have spent the day processing the crime scene, conducting interviews, and following leads. Once their comprehensive report is completed, it will be given to the Pawnee County District Attorney's Office.
