With the hot weather settling in and people heading to the water, the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office would like to remind everyone of a few simple safety tips...
- Always have and use a life vest or flotation device while in/on the water
- Bring a cell phone so you can call for help if needed
- Tell someone your plans - where you are going, what you are doing and when you plan to be home
