Detectives and FBI are investigating a robbery at Chase Bank

INCIDENT: Bank Robbery
LOCATION: Chase Bank, 12700 Block Main Street, Hesperia
SUSPECT: White male
SUMMARY:
On June 29, 2018 at about 2:52 PM, Deputies from the Hesperia Station responded to a reported robbery that had just occurred at a Chase Bank branch in the 12700 Block on Main Street in Hesperia. Deputies arrived on scene and confirmed that a white male suspect wearing light colored clothing, glasses and a ball cap had entered the business and by way of producing a note, indicated to the teller that he was demanding money. The teller believed the suspect to be armed and complied with the demands. The suspect took the undisclosed amount of currency and fled the bank on foot.
Hesperia Station Detectives and agents from the Victorville FBI office responded to the scene and the investigation is on-going. No injuries were reported to any customers or employees in the bank and anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area at the time is asked to contact Detective Jason Schroeder or Sergeant Doug Hubbard at the Hesperia Station.
