Deputies respond to an injury traffic collision on US HWY 395 near Desert Flower Road

INCIDENT: INJURY TRAFFIC COLLISION
LOCATION: US HWY 395/ Desert Flower Road, Adelanto
SUMMARY:
On Friday, June 29, 2018, at 9:47 am, deputies from the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a traffic collision on US Highway 395 near Desert Flower Road.
A Toyota 4-Runner was traveling southbound on US Hwy 395 when it drifted across the double yellow lines and sideswiped a semi-truck that was heading northbound. The impact caused the 4-Runner to skid sideways and collide with a Chevy Colorado truck, causing the truck to roll.
The driver of the Chevy Colorado was airlifted from the scene. The passenger in the Chevy Colorado and the driver and passenger of the Toyota 4-Runner were transported by ambulance to local hospitals. The driver of the Semi-Truck was not injured.
Deputies are investigating the cause of the traffic collision.
