The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office apprehended Jason Owen, after a search was conducted in the area of his 230 Sea Island Parkway residence on Lady’s Island. Owen was originally wanted by deputies for an arrest warrant for Stalking, but fled the area on foot resulting in a search involving deputies, K-9 Units and the Aviation Unit. Owen was located and taken in to custody by deputies, who were searching the area. This incident is part of an on-going investigation and additional charges may arise as the investigation continues.
