Every year the Upper Macungie Township Police Department and the Upper Macungie Township Bureau of Fire (BOF includes Station #8 Fogelsville, Station # 25 Trexlertown and Station #56) run the Junior Emergency Services Academy. This programs consists of four days of classes and training; two days focused on Police related courses and two days focused on Fire related courses. The last day the cadets have to prove the skills they learn with a challenge day.
The academy runs from July 23 - July 27, 2018. 9am-4pm. Lunch is included. This academy is for kids age 12-16. For more information please go to http://www.uppermac.org/emergency-services-academy/
