SMPD seeking witnesses in armed robbery at local 7-11

San Mateo Police Department is asking for our community’s help with identifying a suspect in an armed robbery that occurred at a local 7-11 on Thursday.
 
On June 21st, 2018, at about 11:10 p.m., officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at 7-11 located at 600 E 3rd Avenue. When officers arrived, they were told by the victim that a masked man entered the store and stole money from the cash register while being held at gunpoint. Within seconds, the man ran from the store and out of sight.
 
The suspect was described as a Hispanic adult man, 22 to 24 years old, about 5ft 8in tall, 150 to 160 lbs, wearing a dark colored hoodie, a light-colored mask, and dark colored blue jeans.
