* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Central Cherokee County in southwestern North Carolina... Clay County in southwestern North Carolina...

* Until 415 PM EDT.

* At 331 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 8 miles southwest of Town Of Santeetlah to 6 miles south of Murphy to near Morganton, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Andrews, Murphy, Hayesville, Shooting Creek, Tusquitee, Topton, Brasstown and Marble. HAIL...0.75IN WIND...60MPH

* AFFECTED AREAS: CHEROKEE ... CLAY
