A RED FLAG WARNING has been issued for the City of Oakland. 

The Oakland hills are located in a Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zone.  

EXTREME FIRE DANGER CONDITIONS are expected from Saturday 11 AM, June 23rd to Sunday 8 PM, June 24th. Expect Northerly winds of 15 to 30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH. Isolated highest terrain could see locally higher winds. The relative humidity will be from 10 to 20% will be       common during the day, with the driest locations dropping into the single digit range during the warmest, driest, windiest times of the day. 

Overnight humidity recoveries will be poor and less than 30%. The affected area are elevations above 1000 feet. Use extreme caution and end     use of flame or spark producing equipment in dry grass and brush areas and observe posted No Smoking Area signs, by Order of the Fire           Marshal.
