Newark Woman Arrested for Illegal Dumping
Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose reports the arrest Mehreen Khan, 41, of Newark, for an incident of illegal dumping last night.
At approximately 11:10 p.m., members of the Illegal Dumping Task Force observed a man unloading debris from a silver Mazda wagon in the 300-block of South 12th Street. The dumped materials included large amount of wood. Upon becoming aware of police presence, the man fled on foot.
