...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT EDT /11 PM CDT/ TONIGHT... The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana has issued a
* Flash Flood Watch for portions of northern Indiana and northwest Ohio, including the following areas, in northern Indiana, Adams, Allen IN, Blackford, Cass IN, Fulton IN, Grant, Huntington, Jay, Kosciusko, Marshall, Miami, Pulaski, Starke, Wabash, Wells, White, and Whitley. In northwest Ohio, Allen OH, Paulding, Putnam, and Van Wert.
* Until midnight EDT /11 PM CDT/ tonight
* Numerous showers and thunderstorms along and south of Route 24 are expected to develop northward toward the Route 30 corridor this afternoon. These showers and thunderstorms have the potential to produce heavy rainfall of 1 to 2 inches in a short period of time. A localized flash flooding threat will be possible due to this additional heavy rainfall, especially for areas which have received heavy rainfall over the past 24 hours where the ground is saturated.
