Recent department Activity

On Monday, at 3:15 PM, FTO Paul Rourick conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at S. Locust Ave and Third St. for a moving violation.  The driver, identified as Brian Allsup (28 years of Riverbank), was determined to be driving with a suspended driver’s license and in possession of illegal fireworks.  In addition, he was determined to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest.  He was taken into custody and released at the scene on a citation.
On Monday, at 7:37 PM, Sergeant Stephen Meece conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at 1524 W. Colony Rd. for a registration violation.  The driver, identified as Bianca Azure (26 years of Stockton), was determined to be driving without a valid driver’s license.  In addition, she was determined to have an outstanding warrant for her arrest.  She was taken into custody and released at the scene on a citation.
On Tuesday, at 4:13 AM, Officer Justin Qualle made contact with a subject at 341 E. Main St.  The subject, identified as Edward Ortiz Jr. (48 years of Ripon), was determined to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest.  In addition, he was in possession of drug paraphernalia.  He was taken into custody and released at the scene on a citation.
On Wednesday, at 12:50 AM, Officer Justin Qualle made contact with a subject at S. Manley Rd. and Reynolds Ave.  The subject, identified as Tracy Thompson (49 years of Modesto), was determined to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest.  He was taken into custody and booked into the San Joaquin County Jail.
On Wednesday, at 7:58 AM, Detectives Richard Francis and Jared Heuvel conducted follow-up in the 1400 block of Stanley Dr. on a domestic violence incident that occurred the previous week.  They made contact with the suspect, identified as Vincent Bennett (20 years of Ripon).  He was taken into custody and booked into the San Joaquin County Jail for domestic violence.
On Wednesday, at 1056 AM, officers responded to the 500 block of S. Walnut Ave. for a welfare check on a subject.  On arrival, officers contacted several subjects determined to be on probation and have outstanding warrants for their arrest.  During a probation search of the residence, officers located illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, a credit card embosser, a card reader, and blank cards that can be scanned and have information added to them.  Officers also located several suspicious identification cards, credit cards, and gift cards.  Matthew Faltisek (33 years of Ripon) was taken into custody for outstanding warrants.  Samantha Rosenquist (30 years of Ripon) was taken into custody for outstanding warrants, identity theft and destroying evidence.  Daniel Fernandes (50 years of Ripon) was taken into custody for identity theft and obstructing an officer.  Brandon Villanueva was taken into custody for identity theft and felon in possession of ammunition.  Stephanie McDougald (24 years of Ripon) was taken into custody for possession of drug paraphernalia. 
 
On Wednesday, at 1:37 PM, officers responded to 1201 W. Main St. regarding a verbal argument between two subjects.  On arrival, Officer Alex Contreras made contact with the involved parties.  One of the subjects, identified as Lawton Climer (27 years of Modesto), was determined to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest.  He was taken into custody and released from the police department on a citation.
