The Geneva Police Department would like to remind you that the Swedish Days Festival began yesterday and runs through Sunday. There are a significant number of pedestrians in the downtown area, especially on State Street and 3rd Street. Vehicular traffic is also heavier than normal
Please drive carefully and be patient when driving through the city. Yield to pedestrians in the crosswalks and obey the posted speed limits.
