Deputies arrest Rhonda Scheidt of Victorville for attempted murder

LOCATION: 14400 block of Palmdale Road, Victorville
SUSPECT: Rhonda Scheidt, 57-year old Victorville resident
VICTIM: Timothy Gould, 49-year old Victorville resident
SUMMARY: On June 17, 2018, deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to the 14400 block of Palmdale Road for a reported stabbing. The caller reported seeing the victim walking down the street, bleed profusely from his arm.
Responding deputies learned the victim, Timothy Gould, had been in an argument with his ex-wife, Rhonda Scheidt, and she stabbed him in the upper arm and fled the location. Gould sustained life threatening injuries and was flown to a nearby trauma center for treatment.
Deputies obtained a search warrant for the residence Scheidt and Gould shared and the stabbing took place. They were able to recover evidence from the home, leading to an arrest warrant to be issued for Scheidt.
On June 18, 2018, Deputy R. Ripley located Scheidt at a residence near the incident location. During his contact with her, Ripley recovered the weapon used in the stabbing. Scheidt was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center for attempted murder.
