Deputies conduct a residential burglary investigation and arrest two suspects, a third suspect remains outstanding

DATE: June 8, 2018 / 12:00 p.m.

INCIDENT: Residential Burglary

LOCATION: 210 Freeway / Day Creek Boulevard

SUSPECT: Shylaney Denham, 20-year-old from San Bernardino
Kiwan Woods, 21-year-old from Highland
Outstanding Black Male Adult

SUMMARY:

On June 8, 2018, at approximately 12:00 p.m., deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Station responded to a residential burglary that occurred near the 210 Freeway and Day Creek Blvd. Deputies learned that three suspects forced entry to a residence by breaking the rear sliding glass door. The suspects fled from the location in a vehicle with no license plates prior to the deputies’ arrival. The Rancho Cucamonga Multiple Enforcement Team (MET), responded and assisted with the investigation. On June 13, 2018, MET obtained arrest warrants for all three suspects. During the evening of June 13th, suspect Shylaney Denham was arrested on the outstanding warrant by the Arcadia Police Department. Denham was arrested during a separate residential burglary and was booked into L.A. County Jail. Denham is currently on Felony Probation in San Bernardino County for residential burglary.

On June 14, 2018, suspect Kiwan Woods was taken into custody by the Multiple Enforcement Team at his residence, after trying to jump out of a bedroom window. Woods is currently on parole for residential burglary. Woods was booked into the Central Detention Center for residential burglary and parole violation.

The third suspect has been identified and a felony arrest warrant has been issued for his arrest.
