LOCATION: 16500 block of Green Tree Boulevard, Victorville


SUMMARY: On June 11, 2018, deputies responded to the 16500 block of Green Tree Boulevard for a reported fight. Upon arrival, deputies located 23-year old Emmanuel Gomez and 22-year old Israel Martinez, both of Victorville, near the curb in front of the incident location.

During the investigation, deputies learned Gomez and Martinez had gone to the location to speak to a relative, they believed to be at the house. A person inside the house noticed the two men looking in the front window and they were told they needed to leave. The two men began walking down the street but returned when they saw a car pull into the driveway of the house.

When they returned the second time they made contact with another person at the house and an argument ensued between Gomez and that person. Gomez and Martinez were again told to leave the location multiple times as they continued to advance toward the front door of the house. The argument became physical and Gomez was struck in the face causing him to fall to the ground.

Gomez sustained multiple injuries as a result of the altercation and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Martinez, who was not injured, was found to be under the influence and was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center for drunk in public.
