Traffic stop leads to the arrest of Princeton man on Marijuana charge.
On June 15, 2018, at 12:13 a.m. Sergeant John Fischer conducted a traffic stop on a Red 2015 Toyota Corolla for speeding on Main Street near Monroe Street in Princeton. Upon approaching the vehicle Sgt. Fischer detected the odor of Marijuana coming from within the vehicle. At that point a roadside investigation was conducted that resulted in the driver 23 year old Justin Wildt being placed into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the Jail Mr. Wildt was charged with Possession of Marijuana. Assisting Sgt. Fischer in his investigation was officers Dan Goedde and Chelsea Jones of the Princeton Police Department.
Mr. Wildt has since posted a $550 bond.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
