Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a female Hispanic adult that occurred on the 18200 block of Towne Avenue, Carson.
 
On Sunday, June 17, 2018, at about 1:30a.m., Carson Station deputies and fire personnel responded to the location regarding a person down/rescue call.  Upon arriving, they discovered a single victim down at the scene suffering from what appeared to be at least one gunshot wound to the body.  The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. 

There is no description of the shooter suspect.
