Location is the Bessie Owens Center, 4001 Alexander Ave. Cooling shelter hours are 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Dates are Saturday June 16, Sunday June 17 and Monday June 18, 2018 The parameters for opening a warming shelter in the City of East Chicago is a wind chill below zero for 3 consecutive days.
