Community: Man, Woman Wounded in unincorporated Monrovia Shooting, Temple Sta Detectives Investigating

On Thursday, June 14, 2018, at approximately 11:41 A.M., Temple Station deputies responded to a “shots fired, gunshots heard” call in the 2500 block of Broderick Avenue, unincorporated Monrovia.

Upon their arrival, deputies located a female Hispanic adult and a male Black adult suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper torso.

Both victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment.  The male victim remains in fair condition and the female victim is in surgery.

Preliminary information reveals that a white colored vehicle was seen leaving the scene.

The incident appears to be gang related.

The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information available at this time.
