Detectives seek information about the suspect involved in an attempt murder; victim remains in critical condition

INCIDENT: Attempted Murder
LOCATION: 15400 block of Sixth Street, Victorville
SUSPECT: Unknown Hispanic male, approximately 18-20 years old
VICTIM: Confidential, 38-year old male
SUMMARY: On June 13, 2018, deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to the 15400 block of Sixth Street for a man who had been shot.
Upon arrival, deputies located the 38-year old male victim on the ground and unresponsive. The victim had been shot one time in the face. Deputies and emergency medical personnel administered life saving measures at the scene. The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital and subsequently air lifted to a nearby trauma center, where he is listed in critical condition.
Witnesses described the suspect as a Hispanic male, approximately 18-20 years old, thin build and approximately 5’10” tall. He was wearing a white shirt and dark colored pants or long shorts, a blue bandana and a hat. The suspect may have left the scene in a dark colored compact sedan, occupied by several other people.
