Julian Knighton of Grand Terrace is arrested for attempted murder after severely beating his wife

LOCATION: 24000 block of Stewart Street, Loma Linda
SUSPECT: Julian Knighton, 51 years old, Grand Terrace resident
SUMMARY:
On May 27, 2018, Deputies Flores and Gile, from the Sheriff's Central Station, Loma Linda patrol, responded to the incident location in reference to an assault. Deputies arrived and discovered the victim's husband, identified as Julian Knighton, had severly beaten the victim. The victim suffered severe facial fractures, including having her teeth knocked out. After the assault, Knighton took the victim's rental car and fled the scene. A warrant for Knighton's arrest was authored and placed into records.
On June 8, 2018, Knighton was arrested in the state of New Mexico by local authorities. Detectives from the Sheriff's Central Station extradited Knighton and brought him back to San Bernardino County where he was booked into Central Detention Center for Attempt Murder.
