Deputies respond to an unconscious driver and find two small children in the back seat; driver arrested for DUI

SUSPECT: Ronisha Shavonne Palmore, 32-year old Victorville resident

SUMMARY: On June 11, 2018, at approximately 8:21 p.m., Sheriff’s Dispatch received a call regarding a woman hanging out of a vehicle near Moonglow Lane and Surrey Court. The caller notified Dispatch there were two small children in the back seat of the car.
Deputies arrived on scene and found Ronisha Shavonne Palmore unconscious, partially out of the car, and her toddler and infant in the back seat, unharmed. An empty alcohol bottle and prescription medication bottles were found on the front passenger seat. Deputies received information confirming Palmore had been driving the vehicle prior to stopping at the Moonglow location.
The children were released to their father. Palmore was taken to a local hospital for treatment and subsequently arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center for child cruelty and driving under the influence.
