The following is a synopsis of crimes reported for the week of June 03 – June 09, 2018

June 03, 2018

  • A Petty Theft was reported at 1050 Huntington Drive (Target).  While investigating an email alert from another Target store, loss prevention officers reviewed surveillance footage and observed a female adult selecting 12 cases of “Red Bull” energy drinks.  The suspect then placed fraudulent bar codes on the cases and proceeded to a checkout stand.  After paying for the cases, she left the location in a white GMC pickup with U-Haul stickers on the side.  After reviewing the transaction, loss prevention noticed the suspect only paid $41 for the drinks instead of $431 because she used fraudulent bar codes.

  • A Petty Theft/Shoplifting was reported at 1050 Huntington Drive (Target).  An adult male was detained by loss prevention officers after he was observed removing a blender from its box and placing a kitchen aide attachment in place of the bender.  The suspect admitted to stealing the item in order to sell the item to pay for a motel room for the night.
