UPDATE: Detectives arrest Apple Valley transient for the murder of the female located in James Woody Park

VICTIM: Monique Marty, 40-year-old, transient from the Town of Apple Valley
SUSPECT: Rolando Sesan, age 21 a transient from the Town of Apple Valley

UPDATE – Monday, June 11, 2018
On Sunday, June 10, 2018, the suspect, Rolando Sesan, called Sheriff’s Dispatch requesting to speak to a Deputy Sheriff. Detectives from the Homicide Team interviewed Mr. Sesan, he was subsequently arrested, transported and booked into the Central Detention Center for Murder. Sesan is being held without bail and is scheduled for court on June 12th.
Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance with the investigation. On Friday, June 8, 2018, at 1:50 a.m., deputies responded to James Woody Park, near the intersection of Navajo Road and Powhatan Road in the Town of Apple Valley regarding a deceased female at the park. Deputies arrived and determined the victim was murdered. Investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Division responded to the scene.
The victim is described as a White female adult, medium build, wearing a dark sweatshirt and jeans.
