2 adult males, 1 adult female and 1 male juvenile arrested after beating a victim with a baseball bat & stabbing him

DATE/TIME OF INCIDENT: Friday, June 8, 2018 at 9:30pm

INCIDENT: ATTEMPT MURDER

LOCATION: 32500 block of Powerline Road, in Lucerne Valley

SUSPECT: Jose Rodriguez, 74 years-old, of Apple Valley
Jose Zamora, 18 years-old, of Apple Valley
Blanca Ash, 33 years-old, of Apple Valley
Male juvenile, 17 years-old, of Apple Valley

VICTIM: Male Adult, 32 years-old, of Lucerne Valley


SUMMARY:

On Friday, June 8, 2018, at 9:30pm, deputies from the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the report of an assault in the 32500 block of Powerline Road in Lucerne Valley.

Deputies located the victim at the residence with trauma to his head and body. He had also suffered a stab wound to the abdomen. Through the investigation deputies learned the victim and his live-in girlfriend were in an argument earlier in the evening and he told her and the children to leave the house. His girlfriend went to her family’s house in the 13300 block of Tutelo Road in Apple Valley and told them about the argument. Jose Rodriguez, Jose Zamora, Blanca Ash and a 17-year-old male juvenile went to the victim’s residence, forced entry through a sliding door, then beat the victim with a baseball bat. The juvenile suspect then stabbed the victim in the abdomen with a knife.

The suspects fled before deputies arrived but were located a short time later and arrested at the residence on Tutelo Road. The baseball bat and knife were recovered. The victim was flown to an area hospital.

Jose Rodriguez, Jose Zamora and Blanca Ash were all booked at High Desert Detention Center for attempt murder. The juvenile suspect was booked for attempt murder at High Desert Juvenile Detention Center.
