...A Red Flag Warning has been issued from noon today until 8 pm mdt this evening for gusty winds, low relative humidity, high Haines indices and dry fuels for fire weather zone 224, which includes the San Luis Valley... ...A Red Flag Warning has been issued for Sunday morning through Sunday evening, for gusty winds, low relative humidity, high Haines Indices and dry fuels for fire weather zones 220 through 236, which includes the Eastern San Juan and La Garita mountains, Chaffee and Lake counties, the San Luis Valley, the Wet Mountains, the Wet Mountain Valley, the Sangre de Cristo Mountains as well as Fremont, Custer, Teller, El Paso, Pueblo, Huerfano, Las Animas, Crowley, Otero, Kiowa, Bent and Prowers counties... ...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 8 PM MDT THIS EVENING FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONE 224... ...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM TO 10 PM MDT SUNDAY FOR FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONE 224... The National Weather Service in Pueblo has issued a Red Flag Warning for gusty winds, low relative humidity, high Haines indices and dry fuels, which is in effect from noon today to 8 PM MDT this evening. A Red Flag Warning has also been issued from 10 AM to 10 PM MDT Sunday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.

* Affected Area...Fire Weather Zone 224.

* Winds...Today...Southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. Sunday...Southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 45 mph.

* Relative Humidity...As low as 8 percent.

* Haines Index...6 or a high potential for large plume dominated fire growth.

* Impacts...Conditions will be favorable for the rapid growth and spread of fires are anticipated.

* AFFECTED AREAS: SAN LUIS VALLEY INCLUDING ALAMOSA, DEL NORTE, FORT GARLAND, SAGUACHE
