Deputies arrest a Victorville man for being a felon in possession of a firearm

INCIDENT: FELON IS POSSESSION OF A FIREARM
LOCATION: Bellflower Street at Rancho Road, Adelanto
SUSPECT: Aaron Washington, 35-year-old, Resident of Victorville
SUMMARY:
On Thursday, June 7, 2018, at 10:45 p.m., Deputies Joseph Mora and Kyle Schuler saw two male adults attempting to break into a Black Toyota Matrix.
Deputies contacted the subjects and learned the vehicle belonged to one of the men, Aaron Washington, and he had locked himself out. The other subject was trying to help him unlock the vehicle. Aaron Washington, who is currently on probation, was found to have a felony no-bail warrant for his arrest. Inside the vehicle, deputies found a loaded .380 semi-automatic pistol behind the driver seat. Washington is a convicted felon and prohibited from possessing firearms and ammunition; he was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center.
