Traffic Advisory - Special Olympic Torch Run Friday traffic delays expected. Grand Opening George Street Grill Sunday
TRAFFIC ADVISORY
South Brunswick Police is advising of upcoming events that will impact traffic around the Township.
FRIDAY June 8
New Jersey Special Olympics Torch Run – police officers will be running throughout the Township to raise funds for the Special Olympics.
6:30am to 8am Route 130 southbound – North Brunswick border to Dey Road
11am to 2pm Ridge Road in Monmouth Junction - officers will be running from the South Brunswick High School to Monmouth Junction Elementary School, and finish at Crossroads Middle School.
4:30pm to 6:30pm Route 27 southbound – Finnegans Lane into Princeton
In total over a dozen South Brunswick officers will run 18 miles in hopes of raising $10,000 dollars.
SUNDAY June 10
Tour de South Brunswick" bicycle fundraiser Sunday. Hundreds of bike riders will be raising funds for education.
8:30am to 12pm TOWNSHIP WIDE
The Annual Tour de South Brunswick will take place Sunday June 10th. Hundreds of bike riders expected to participate. There are three different rides. Motorist should expect brief road closures as the riders go around town between 8:30am and 12pm.

Expect increased pedestrian and vehicle traffic in the area during the grand opening
