Special Olympics Torch Run: We are excited to be participating in today's run!
The Montebello Police Department will once again be participating in the Special Olympics Torch Run. We will also be joined again this year by runners from the Montebello Fire Department. At approximately 2:45 pm, we will be receiving the torch from the East LA Sheriff’s Department at the intersection of Beverly Blvd. and Bradshaw St. We will continue east on Beverly Blvd. for approximately 3.2 miles until we arrive at the intersection of Beverly Blvd. and Rea Dr.
For those of you that want to cheer on our runners, we should pass by city hall around 3:00 pm to 3:15 pm. The time may vary depending on when we receive the torch. If you are able to make it out we greatly appreciate the support. Please feel free to forward this information to others in our community.
