Detective arrests woman wanted in Burke County and finds drugs on her 
Detective Patrick Guion of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Stephanie Nicole Buckner, 28, of 906 Jamestown Road in Morganton, with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Shortly before 8 a.m. on Friday, May 18, Guion noticed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Interstate 40. He stopped the automobile, found Buckner driving and was advised that she had outstanding warrants in Burke County for breaking and entering.
A subsequent search of the suspect and the vehicle turned up .2 gram of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
