Northbound I-405 Overnight Closures of Connectors to
Eastbound and Westbound I-105
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) announces the scheduled closure of the connector ramps from northbound Interstate 405 (San Diego Freeway) to eastbound and westbound Interstate 105 (Century – Glenn Anderson Freeway) to pave and stripe the final lane of the connector road leading up to the ramps. The closures are subject to change and are scheduled as follows:
From 10 p.m. Wed., June 6 until 5 a.m. Thursday, June 7:
• The northbound I-405 connector ramps to eastbound and westbound I-105 and the eastbound El Segundo on ramp to northbound I-405 closed.
Detour: traffic may exit northbound I-405 to westbound or eastbound Imperial Highway. Traffic on eastbound Imperial Highway can rejoin eastbound I-105 at the Freeman Ave. on ramp (east of Hawthorne Blvd.)
Please be aware that northbound and southbound Pacific Coast Highway (formerly called Sepulveda Blvd.) between Imperial Highway and Rosecrans Blvd. is restricted to two lanes overnights Wednesday, June 6 through Friday night, June 8 to install sensor loops. Northbound lanes are closed from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. Southbound lanes are closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
These closures are scheduled for separate nights and will re-open each morning.
